Natural Approaches to Allergy Season

While parts of the nation are being hit hard with record breaking snowfall, Seattle residents are enjoying an unusually mild winter. The crocus, daffodils, and small new buds on trees are announcing “spring will soon be here.”  It may seem a bit early to talk about seasonal allergies for some, especially if you are buried in snow still, but spring is right around the corner.

It is considered an irreversible disorder and results in progressive impairment of cognition, function, and behavior. Following diagnosis, the mean life span is 7 to 10 years. During this time, there is a decline in the ability to autonomously perform activities of daily living, along with increasing cognitive impairment and behavioral change.
